Lab Experience

I am a member of Dr. Nicholas Stadie’s Lab on campus. Our lab group’s focus is on high-porosity carbons for use in methane and hydrogen storage.  I am currently the sole operator of a surface-characterization device called the 3-Flex, and recently obtained a USP grant to study the effects of helium adsorption on extremely high surface area activated carbons and zeolite-templated carbons.

I am also currently co-authoring a paper with my lab mentor on the history of monolayer adsorption theory, which will be published in the 100th anniversary edition of the Langmuir Scientific Journal later this year.
